Kasey was born to Mr & Mrs Brynes on Saturday, November 30, 2001 in Atlanta. At the age of fourteen, she met her crush, Finn at a amusement park. However, Kasey became jealous, when Finn saw Gwen, nearby where they were, and that Finn had a crush, on Gwen. She then had a crush on Gwen and she decided to make a move on him, which caused Bethany to take action and stop all the commotion.

Kasey first appears in this episode, as the stereotypical high school girl, the cheerleader, thinks she's better than every one, she's in the 10th Grade, and decides to take Gwen as her "freshman sidekick", until Gwen realizes that she likes Barry, which causes Bethany to hate Kasey and causes her to like Gwen a little more than she does before.
